New To You Free Shop

Beaver Memorial and First Baptist have teamed up to create a secondhand shop offering gently used adult clothing, linens, and kitchen items free of charge to those in need. It will be held quarterly during the same time (10am to 12noon) as our Beacon Free shop which offers free personal care and household items. 

On October 19, we will have a special toy giveaway to help parents out with holiday gift giving. 

We do need donations which can be brought during our set-up hours on the Friday preceding the event from 2:00-5:00 or on the Sunday before the event following our worship service. Please come through the Parker Building doors (the double glass doors on the right side of the church by the playground) on Sundays or to the alley door behind the church on Fridays. Excluded are knives (other than place setting knives), underwear (bras are okay), shoes, and children’s clothing. Please mark any sheets or bedding items with their size (twin, full, queen, king).
