Beacon Ministries Free ShopWe want everyone to have the chance to live a dignified life, which includes being able to take care of their personal needs. To help with this our Beacon Ministries Free Shop provides personal care products and household supplies to those that need them free of charge.
Available items include soap, deodorant, shaving cream, razors, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, denture adhesive & cleaner, feminine products, adult diapers/pads, toilet paper, dish soap, and laundry detergent. Our shop is open the third Saturday of every month from 10am to 12noon. Our address is 42 South 3rd Street, Lewisburg. Dates for 2025 are as follows:
The entrance to it is near our playground, on the right side of our church. You will be welcomed as you enter and escorted into the sanctuary. A volunteer will work with you to get the items you need. To restock our shop we are requesting monetary donations so we can buy in bulk. Your donation can be sent to BMUMC, 42 S 3rd St, Lewisburg, PA 17837, put in our Sunday offering plate (noting “Beacon” on the memo line), or given online by using our Giving page. Please choose "4202 Beacon Ministries". If you would like to donate items, we request that you use the following list to guide your purchasing. Items can be dropped off in the basket outside the Beacon Free Shop near the church office.
