Busy Beaver DaycarePromoting a community of growthFounded in 2006, Busy Beaver is a state-licensed daycare facility located in the heart of Lewisburg. Endorsed as one of the most diverse daycare facilities in central Pennsylvania, our staff and children reflect the diverse backgrounds and cultures of the area, and we're eager to learn, create, and grow together!
We strive to provide an enriched learning environment where your children have opportunities to enhance their cognitive, social, and emotional growth. We believe our kiddos grow best when using developmentally appropriate, hands-on activities in a positive, safe, and nurturing environment, and we're in the business of providing that environment for your child. We currently serve 85 children and have 18 full-time staff. NOTE: Busy Beaver has a waitlist for our infant and one year old classrooms. We have openings in our 2 year old classroom! Please call 570-522-0458 for enrollment assistance or email our director to join our waitlist. 2026 Holiday Schedule We will be closed the following days.
Closure and Delay Policy Busy Beaver follows the Union County EMS alerts and the discretion of the director for all closings, early dismissals, and delays. In the event of a delay or closure, Busy Beaver will notify parents prior (5:30am) via Facebook and Brightwheel. If there is a 2-hour delay, Busy Beaver will open at 9am, and will not accept children into the classrooms prior. If there is a weather emergency and the center needs to close early, we will notify each parent by phone and Brightwheel as soon as we make the decision. |
