Busy Beaver DaycarePromoting a community of growthFounded in 2006, Busy Beaver is a state-licensed daycare facility located in the heart of Lewisburg. Endorsed as one of the most diverse daycare facilities in central Pennsylvania, our staff and students reflect the diverse backgrounds and cultures of the area, and we're eager to learn, create, and grow together!
We strive to provide an enriched learning environment where your children have opportunities to enhance their cognitive, social, and emotional growth. We believe our kiddos grow best when using developmentally appropriate, hands-on activities in a positive, safe, and nurturing environment, and we're in the business of providing that environment for your child. We currently serve 45 students and have 11 full-time staff. NOTE: Currently all of our classrooms are full and we do have a waitlist. Please call 570-522-0458 for enrollment assistance or email our director to join our waitlist! 2024 Holiday Schedule We will be closed the following days.
Closure and Delay Policy The safety of our children and staff are our highest priority at Busy Beaver. That being said, we follow the Lewisburg Area School District closings ONLY. Any other closings and/or delays due to inclement weather are left to the personal discretion of the director. In the event of a delay or closure, Busy Beaver will notify parents prior (5:30am) via Facebook and Brightwheel. If there is a 2-hour delay, Busy Beaver will open at 9am, and will not accept children into the classrooms prior. If there is a weather emergency and the center needs to close early, we will notify each parent by phone and Brightwheel as soon as we make the decision or are made aware of a Lewisburg Area School District closing. |
