Beaver Memorial UMC, with our beautiful church building built in 1890, stands tall in the heart of Lewisburg as a congregation seeking to welcome all of God’s children as together we seek to more perfectly love God and one another. Named in memory of Rev. Peter Beaver, ordained by the Father of American Methodism, Francis Asbury, & grandfather to former PA Governor James Beaver, of Penn State ‘Beaver Stadium’ fame, Beaver Church continues a long history in Lewisburg of working to let God’s light shine in and through us.
Beaver Memorial is a congregation of the United Methodist Church, engaged in reconciling ministries, seeking to be an inclusive community where all can feel at home and grow in their faith. If you’re looking for a church home, we invite you here to Beaver Church. We’d be blessed to be in ministry with you!
Worship with us at 8:30am & 10:30 am. Sunday School for all ages meets at 9:15am each week.
Please note: We will have one worship service Thanksgiving weekend, Sunday, Nov. 26, at 10:30am with Rev. John Dromazos preaching. Plan to come and help celebrate Christ the King Sunday here at Beaver! Please see our Advent Worship schedule for other changes this holiday season.
