Beaver Memorial United Methodist Church is a place where all are welcome!
Beaver Memorial, whose congregation organized in 1812, was originally part of the Methodist Episcopal Church. The name “Beaver” was adopted in memory of The Rev. Peter Beaver, long time preacher and friend of Bishop Francis Asbury, first American Methodist Bishop.
Beaver Memorial offers 2 opportunities for worship each week:
- Informal 45 minute Worship service Sunday at 8:30 AM
This is an abbreviated traditional Worship service with limited liturgy and singing led by piano accompaniment
- Traditional Worship service Sunday at 10:30 AM
Chancel Choir and other music ensembles are featured
We offer Sunday School for adults and children beginning at 9:15 AM every Sunday. Communion is offered at both services the first Sunday of every month.
We are a diverse community of faith, united through our love of Christ. We neither exclude nor judge, and we seek to be welcoming to all who come through the doors. Beaver Memorial is a congregation of the United Methodist Church, engaged in reconciling ministries, seeking to be an inclusive community where all can feel at home and grow in their faith.
